Why A Corner Fireplace Is Great

A fireplace is a desirable product for a home. If you are short on space however, you may want to consider a corner fireplace. Obviously the easiest way to have a wood burning fireplace is if you already have a chimney intact. The only thing you may need to do is have the chimney repaired, cleaned, or add a new mantel or surround to provide an update.

After deciding what type of fireplace you want you will likely need a corner fireplace mantel. This may have already been included in the fireplace you chose. A corner mantel is placed at a diagonal in the corner above your fireplace. This design allows the space to be utilized. You can then utilize space even further by using the mantel to place object or décor. You can have someone build a mantel for you, or purchase one that is already made. Or, if you are handy, you could construct the mantel yourself. This gives you complete control over the end product.

A corner fireplace is a great way to have a fireplace without taking up too much space. There are enough options that anyone can find what they are looking for.
